Canadian Coast Guard
The Canadian Coast Guard can be raised by voice on VHF channel 16 or by depressing the DSC emergency call button and waiting for a reply from a coast guard station (make sure the VHF is GPS enabled). Alternatively they can be reached by phone at: 1-800-267-7270 or 613-965-3870. For more information click the logo.
U.S. Coast Guard

Topmast is a big fan of Navionics. Navionics is a super-useful navigation tool. It can be downloaded for use on a phone or tablet through your app store and we highly recommend getting it before your Topmast course begins. There is a 2-week free trial, so give it a go!
Canadian Hydrographic Service
